Qualifications

• Has attained a degree qualification and has obtained a CPA certification.
• Manages and performs technical review of all tax returns, identifies and resolves major issues, and involves specialists as appropriate
• Has a general knowledge and application of the relevant professional standards, emerging laws and regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Applies technical expertise and interprets laws, regulations and standards to formulate client-related recommendations.
• Displays advanced research skills and increased efficiency of research process.
• Participates in client discussions of tax determination, risks, and exposure with client personnel at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage tax engagements to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Review tax returns and resolve issues with specialists as needed.
• Effectively communicate with the IRS and state tax authorities including examinations and protests.
• Develop knowledge of tools and processes and apply them to client work.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to training programs.
• Build long-term client relationships and understand client culture to tailor solutions.
• Engage in continuous learning to expand industry expertise.
