Confidential is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join our public accounting firm in Brookfield, Wisconsin. You will oversee complex tax engagements, provide strategic tax planning, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base including individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates.

You will lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers, manage multiple engagements, and ensure deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with partners and team members

Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates
• Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to clients
• Serve as the primary point of contact for key client relationships
• Lead, mentor, and develop tax staff and managers; review work and provide technical guidance
• Oversee multiple engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met
• Stay current on tax law changes and assess their impact on clients
• Assist with firm initiatives such as process improvement, client development, and staff training
