Job summary

Jobot in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a Tax Accountant to join a 15-person firm that recently merged two local practices. You will take over an existing client base and oversee sophisticated tax returns, partnering with a close-knit team to balance high-volume work with a strong work‑life balance.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA with 5+ years in public accounting and has experience serving Manufacturing, Entertainment, Real Estate or Construction clients. Hybrid schedule offered.

Qualifications

• CPA and at least 5 years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with Manufacturing, Entertainment, Real Estate or Construction clients.
• Generalist accounting experience.
• Willingness to work on-site 3 days per week in Westlake Village.

Responsibilities

• Take over an existing client base and manage tax engagements.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver accurate, high‑quality tax returns.
• Stay updated on tax laws and industry-specific issues.

A bit about us:

Welcome! We are a 15 person firm in West Lake Village, having recently merged 2 local firms. Our team prides itself on strong tenure (over 10 year average!), the ability to work as a close team, while maintaining a work life balance. We are a full service CPA firm with sophisticated returns and clients. We are relatively high volume at this point and looking to add a strong Tax Accountant to our team that will be taking over existing clients.

Salary: $115,000 - $150,000 per year.

4% 401k Match, 10+ Year Average Tenure, Sophisticated Returns, Strong Team
