Interstates is seeking a Tax Manager to lead the company’s tax function from our regional offices. You’ll direct tax compliance, planning, and reporting, partnering with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and external advisors to ensure accurate, timely tax filings and strategic tax decisions.
You’ll guide risk management, stay current with federal, state, and local tax laws, and drive process improvements across jurisdictions. Strong communication and CPA-leaning expertise are preferred.

Strong tax leadership helps Interstates manage risk, support business growth, and make informed financial decisions. As a Tax Manager, you'll lead the company's tax function and provide expertise across tax compliance, reporting, planning, and process improvement. You'll partner with Accounting, Finance, Project Accounting, Operations, and external tax advisors to ensure tax requirements are met and tax-related processes are consistent and effective across the business.
Sioux Falls, SD; Sioux Center, IA; or Omaha, NE are preferred locations. Candidate must be located near an Interstates office.
Less than 10% travel is expected. Additional travel may be required for the selected individual based on location and business needs.
