As an ARB Tax Manager, You Will:
- Review tax returns with an emphasis on S Corporations, Partnerships, Individuals, and other entity types, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to closely held businesses and individual clients while identifying opportunities to help clients achieve their financial goals.
- Continue building expertise in key industries—including auto dealerships, construction and real estate, manufacturing, and other commercial businesses—and provide practical tax and business guidance.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop team members by providing technical guidance, coaching, and constructive feedback.
- Manage multiple tax engagements, collaborating with partners and senior leadership to deliver high-quality client service and successful outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive communication, proactive service, and trusted advice.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities with existing clients, developing professional relationships, and supporting the firm’s growth initiatives.
- Research tax issues and communicate practical solutions by applying sound technical judgment and leveraging current tax law.
- Contribute to the continued growth and success of the tax practice through collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
To Be an ARB Tax Manager, You Have:
- A strong background in public accounting with demonstrated technical tax knowledge, leadership potential, and client service skills. (Ideally 5–10 years of experience.)
- An active CPA license (or equivalent qualifications, such as an EA).
- Experience working with CCH Axcess, Caseware, and CCH Fixed Assets (or similar tax software).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain tax concepts clearly to clients and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple engagements and competing deadlines.
- Proven relationship-building skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
- A desire to contribute to ARB's people-first, team-oriented culture while continuing to grow professionally.
