This is a remote-centric opportunity that is in Industry in the Pittsburgh, PA area. This is not in Public Accounting! Candidates must lives in the Pittsburgh, PA area but will only require travel into the office 2 days a week during non-busy times and will be remote during crunch times. It is very flexible.

This is an opportunity to work on the tax, financial and accounting needs of high net worth individuals and partnerships.

Client is looking for a Tax Manager but would consider a Tax Senior or Senior Manager level candidates.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate in public that is looking to transition into industry.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of tax returns for Partnerships, Trusts and Individual Tax Returns
• Assist w/ research on various tax matters, primarily in the federal estate, gift, charitable planning, and generation-skipping tax areas
• Assist in the modeling of estate planning strategies
• Maintaining status schedules for extensions and returns including tax payments made, refunds received and state filing requirements.
• Calculating quarterly tax projections and extension calculations for all entity types.
• Help gather documentation and perform a detailed review of shareholder income tax returns and related workpapers.
• Respond to IRS and other tax authority notices.
