Baker Newman Noyes LLC in Manchester, NH is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee all phases of tax compliance for assigned clients across industries. You will participate in firm administration, lead and mentor the engagement team, and develop staff while delivering high-caliber client service.

The role requires five+ years of tax experience in public accounting, CPA, and a Masters or 150 credit hours, with flexibility to meet business needs.

Tax Managers are responsible for the management of all phases of tax compliance for assigned clients in a variety of industries. Managers participate in firm administration and leadership, including staff and firm development.

• Generates, pursues, and assists in closing proposal opportunities with existing and/or potential clients
• Highly responsive to the client’s needs and requests
• Manages the client’s expectations and the day-to-day client relationship
• Meets time deadlines while also meeting or exceeding quality requirements
• Motivates staff through their professional and technical reputation, enthusiasm, and positive attitude

Education and Experience

• Five or more years of experience in taxation with a public accounting firm
• Masters or other form of 150 college credit hours with requisite accounting related courses (Bachelor’s degrees may be considered in some situations)
• CPA certificate required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
