Qualifications

  • Ability to identify tax planning opportunities and communicate recommendations effectively.
  • Experience reviewing complex tax returns and workpapers.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor, train, and develop staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge of current tax laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Support client relationships through responsive service and technical expertise.
  • Participate in select attest and assurance engagements based on experience and firm needs.
  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment focused on quality, efficiency, and client success.

Job description

The Tax Manager provides technical tax expertise, leadership, and client service support within a public accounting environment. This role is responsible for reviewing and preparing complex tax returns, identifying tax planning opportunities, conducting tax research, and mentoring staff.
