Job summary

Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP seeks a Tax Manager in Washington to deliver tax and business advisory services to small business clients. You will work with firm leadership, mentor staff, and guide engagement strategy while ensuring timely, accurate tax filings and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; degree in accounting preferred, master's or advanced degree preferred.
  • CPA, Law License, or Enrolled Agent required.
  • Five or more years of experience providing federal and state tax compliance, accounting and advisory services in a professional services firm.
  • Two or more years of supervisory experience, mentoring and counseling associates.
  • Ability to lead and supervise others, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and ethical standards.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee accounting, bookkeeping and prepared or compiled financials for small business clients.
  • Review and analyze accounting records with clients, provide analysis and discuss business matters.
  • Lead and plan client engagements, evaluate processes for efficiency and internal controls.
  • Manage client relationships and supervise team members to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Contribute to client growth by researching additional services and networking internally and externally.

Baker Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package to eligible employees.In Yakima, WA: pay rate range is $90,000 to $133,040.In Kennewick, WA: pay rate range is $92,000 to $146,340.In Wenatchee, WA: pay rate range is $101,300 to $139,690.#LI-CR1#LI-Hybrid
