Job summary

GBQ Holdings LLC seeks a Tax IT Business Relationship Analyst in Columbus to bridge Tax and IT, gather requirements, and coordinate day-to-day IT communications. This role focuses on optimizing tools, AI adoption, and process improvements within the tax function.

The incumbent will work with senior leaders, drive initiatives across profitability, practice growth, and client focus, and help quantify IT investments to maximize value for the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information systems, engineering, CS, finance, or accounting.
• Experience or exposure to AI concepts and tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand tax technology tools and how they apply to business goals.
• Monitor and analyze business performance; identify and plan improvements with IT and tax teams.
• Guide cross-training and best practices for firm technology and AI usage.
• Coordinate across departments to improve communication and collaboration on IT initiatives.
• Identify strategic opportunities and track adoption of tax IT capabilities.
• Support development of the tax technology roadmap and change management plans.
