The Tax & Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Coordinator provides operational and technical support for fiduciary tax administration and Individual Retirement Accounts within the Wealth Management business. This role exists to ensure accurate tax classifications, timely and compliant tax reporting, and consistent application of tax and retirement regulations across fiduciary and IRA accounts. The position contributes to risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and effective client service by serving as a key point of contact for tax and IRA-related inquiries and by supporting internal partners with subject matter expertise.
The salary range for this position is $51,700 - $101,500 per year plus bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate's relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.
Applies analytical thinking and sound judgment to resolve tax and retirement‑related issues in a timely and compliant manner. Takes ownership of problems, evaluates available information and potential consequences, and collaborates with internal partners to recommend appropriate solutions consistent with tax law, regulatory requirements, and fiduciary standards.
Effectively communicates technical tax and IRA information in a clear, accurate, and audience‑appropriate manner. Shares information transparently with internal partners, listens actively to understand questions and concerns, and ensures mutual understanding when clarifying requirements, resolving issues, or explaining tax‑related determinations.
Plans and prioritizes work to meet regulatory deadlines while anticipating risks and downstream impacts. Breaks down complex tax activities into manageable actions, aligns day‑to‑day responsibilities with departmental objectives, and adjusts priorities as needed to support accurate and timely fiduciary tax and IRA administration.
Demonstrates ownership of professional development by maintaining current knowledge of fiduciary tax and retirement regulations. Actively seeks feedback, builds technical expertise, and applies learning to improve accuracy, efficiency, and consistency in work outcomes.
