Job summary

Forvis Mazars US is offering internships in assurance, tax, or a combination, available in winter and summer terms in the Charleston area. You will work with senior staff on client engagements, gaining exposure to industries and developing accounting and tax skills.

Interns must be pursuing CPA eligibility, maintain at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, initiative, and attention to detail; some travel to off-site meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing CPA eligibility; maintaining 3.0 GPA.
• Strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; able to analyze financial data.
• Effective time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
• Calculate tax extension or estimate payments
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
