Qualifications

• Pursuing accounting degree with practical coursework in tax or auditing.
• Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher as an indicator of academic ability.
• Working toward CPA eligibility after graduation (150 credits).
• Coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm requests in a timely, professional manner.
• Gather information from clients for required documents.
• Use data analysis to find patterns and support recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.
• Prepare individual, business, and fiduciary tax returns and projections.
• Research tax issues and related financial reports.
• Participate in a limited number of tax return interviews as needed.
