Job summary

Coldstream Wealth Management offers a tax season internship based in our Seattle office on South Lake Union. Part-time hours are 20–25 per week, with an internship running from mid‑January through the third week of April 2027.

Pay is $20.00 per hour, with free parking or a transit pass provided. You will contribute by organizing source documents and workpapers, preparing workpapers and tax returns for high‑net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships, and researching tax issues as

Qualifications

• Experience and interest in public accounting and tax.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with a 2026 graduation preference.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize source documents and workpapers from clients.
• Prepare workpapers as requested and assist with tax returns.
• Research tax issues as needed and support team projects.

• You will be based in a fast-paced environment out of our Seattle office on South Lake Union
• Part-time hours between 7:00am and 4:00pm (anticipating approximately 20-25 hours per week)
• The internship will begin in mid-January and go through the third week of April 2027
• Pay will be $20.00 per hour.

You will contribute by:

• Organizing source documents and workpapers received from clients
• Preparing workpapers as requested
• Preparing tax returns and information returns for high-net-worth individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Researching various tax issues as requested

Experience and Skills

• Customer service experience and the desire to provide superior client service in a team-oriented environment
• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (preference for students who will be graduating in 2026 and are interested in careers in public accounting and tax)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel,
• Strong organizational, communication, and prioritization skills
