Job summary

KEB CPA is seeking a Tax Services Department intern to assist with trust and individual income tax return preparation, analyze tax notices, draft responses, and support tax planning and projections.

Interns will learn our tax project tracking software and provide various support to facilitate the tax return preparation process. Spring internships typically start in late January and end in April.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accounting curriculum at the sophomore level or higher.
• Plan to pursue CPA.
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.

Job description

Job Duties:

As an intern with the Tax Services Department, you will be responsible for the preparation of trust and individual income tax returns, as well as analyzing tax notices and drafting responses, assisting in tax planning, the preparation of tax projections and performing tax research. You will learn our tax project tracking software. You may also provide various support to facilitate the tax return preparation process.

Spring tax internships usually start in late January and end in April.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
