Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP invites you to join as a Tax Intern to gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work on multiple client engagements under supervision and apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology.

You will shadow Tax professionals of all levels, participate in team training, and support marketing or research projects. Travel to client sites is expected as needed, including frequent same-day trips.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program.
• GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred, but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge while performing client work using Firm technology.
• Shadow Tax professionals of all levels.
• Participate in team building and training initiatives.
• Participate in and present on a marketing or research project.
• Attend social functions: happy hours, lunches, community service projects and other outings.
