Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Tax Intern to gain insight into the public accounting profession and build a solid foundation for your career. You will work for multiple supervisors on diverse client engagements and shadow Tax professionals at all levels.

Ideal candidates are juniors or seniors in accounting or a related program, two years from graduation, with a strong work ethic and proficiency in spreadsheets and computer tools. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited accounting or related program, within two years of graduation.
• GPA 3.0/4.0 or above preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work for multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements.
• Apply accounting knowledge using Firm technology on client work.
• Shadow Tax professionals at all levels.
• Participate in team trainings and marketing or research projects.
• Attend social and community service events.
