Job summary

Armanino LLP invites you to join its tax internship in Austin, Texas, starting January 3, 2028. You will gain hands-on experience preparing corporate, partnership, trust, and individual returns and work closely with experienced professionals.

You’ll stay current with tax regulations, develop planning skills, and collaborate on client engagements across industries, while pursuing CPA licensure with company support.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Plan to complete CPA licensure unit requirements (150 semester/225 quarter units) between December 2028 and August 2029 is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients, including drafts, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extensions, and projections.
• Research and stay up to date with changes in tax regulations and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state level.
• Work as an individual contributor and as part of a team across industries such as Technology, Real Estate, Education, Cannabis, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, and more.
• Collaborate with a team via meetings, chat, and email to support client projects.
• Develop skills in accounting software through courses, self-guided learning, workflow updates, and on-the-job training.
• Support CPA certification progress with Armanino through prep materials and classes.
• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
