Job summary

Armanino seeks interns to gain hands-on experience in preparing corporate, partnership, trust, and individual tax returns for diverse clients in California. You will draft returns, estimates, vouchers, and extensions while staying current on regulatory changes.

As part of a supportive team, you will develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels and work toward CPA licensure with Armanino's guidance through training and on-the-job experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting.
• Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2027 – August 2028 (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Prepare Corporate, Partnership, Trust, and Individual tax returns for clients.
• Draft returns, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extensions, and projections.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills at federal and state levels.
• Collaborate with a team across industries including Technology, Real Estate, Education, Non-Profit, and more.
• Develop skills in accounting software through courses, self-guided learning, and on-the-job training.
• Support CPA certification progress with Armanino through prep materials and classes.
• Foster an environment of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
