Job summary

Omnicom in New York, NY is seeking a Tax Intern to support the Tax Team on domestic and international compliance, audits, and reporting.

You will work five days a week in the office, perform Excel-based calculations, assist with tax research, and help prepare workpapers under supervision from the Senior Director, Tax. This internship is designed for sophomores or higher pursuing Accounting or Finance majors seeking hands-on experience in a corporate tax environment.

Qualifications

• Sophomores or higher majoring in Accounting or Finance
• Strong accounting and analytical skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent organizational skills
• Interest in an accounting or finance career
• Full-time Summer Internship

Responsibilities

• Assisting in State and Local Compliance
• Assisting in various tax audit tasks including the gathering of information for audit responses and analysis of workpapers
• Assisting in International Compliance
• Assisting in excel-based calculations used in tax planning
• Possibly tax related research
