Job summary

SSC CPAs + Advisors in Tulsa, OK is offering paid Experienced Intern positions for Spring 2026. This hands-on internship lets you build on prior internship or related accounting experience, with increasing responsibility and exposure to tax, audit, and client services.

You’ll work at least 20 hours per week around coursework, with flexibility for busy periods, and mentorship from seasoned professionals that may lead to a full-time offer after completion.

Responsibilities

• Preparing tax return work papers and assisting in the preparation of business and individual tax returns
• Performing tax extension calculations and contributing to tax planning or audit-related tasks
• Reviewing client documents for accuracy and providing research support to project teams
• Participating in internal and client meetings, gaining exposure to the client service process
• Supporting digital workflow by organizing, scanning, and managing documents

What You’ll Be Doing

As an experienced Intern, you’ll build on your previous internship and work experience with increased responsibility including:

• Preparing tax return work papers and assisting in the preparation of business and individual tax returns;
• Performing tax extension calculations and contributing to tax planning or audit-related tasks;
• Reviewing client documents for accuracy and providing research support to project teams;
• Participating in internal and client meetings, gaining exposure to the client service process;
• Supporting digital workflow by organizing, scanning, and managing documents.

This hands-on opportunity allows you to contribute directly to client engagements, refine your technical knowledge, and develop stronger professional experience.

Additional Details

• Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, scheduled in advance around your coursework
• Flexibility to work beyond typical Monday-Friday hours if needed during peak times
