Job summary

alliantgroup in Houston seeks a Project Manager to lead Energy Credits and Incentives, 179D and ITC-related studies, coordinating with attorneys, accountants, engineers, and architects to deliver high-impact tax consulting assignments.

You will own project plans, timelines, scope, and client relationships, guiding cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to meet deadlines and quality goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business management, project management, or related field.
• 3+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Construction or engineering experience preferred.
• ITC knowledge a plus (not required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must reside in or relocate to Houston.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through completion, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and goals are met
• Serve as the primary client contact, building strong relationships and understanding client needs
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in partnership with internal teams and leadership
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and expectations
• Partner with clients on technical project discussions, identifying opportunities and understanding construction-related activities
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and areas for improvement, and develop solutions to keep projects on track
• Lead and motivate cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Drive process improvements and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
• Execute project next steps and milestones while maximizing value and outcomes for the client
