Department of Revenue in Atlanta, GA seeks a Tax Examiner I to support the Title Image Examination unit. This in-office role handles data input, mail processing, record management, and audits of title documents with attention to detail and confidentiality.

Required: associate degree in accounting or related field or 1 year of relevant experience; HS diploma accepted with experience. In-office Monday–Friday, benefits include health, retirement, and more. Salary $39,728 annually.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or related area from an accredited college or university.
• High School diploma/GED and one year of job-related experience required.
• Preferred: experience reviewing applications for completeness and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Audit title records weekly and perform related duties.
• Determine accuracy, completeness and validity of title applications.
• Reroute mail and manage paper and digital records; use MS Office daily.
