Job summary

Andersen Tax is seeking a Tax Director to lead Private Client Services engagements for wealthy families, family offices, and owner-operated businesses in the United States. You will guide complex tax planning, coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, and ensure top-tier client service and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years at an accounting firm, CPA/JD/EA, and proven leadership. The role emphasizes mentorship, strategic tax planning, and collaboration across offices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience at an accounting firm, with 6+ years in Private Client.
• Bachelor's and/or Master’s in Accounting/Finance (preferred).
• Active credential allowing representation before the IRS (CPA/JD/EA).
• Strong leadership and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex income tax engagements for high-net-worth clients.
• Manage, mentor, and evaluate Associates and Managers.
• Develop tax planning strategies and ensure on-time deliverables.
• Collaborate on firm-wide initiatives and business development.
