Job summary

EisnerAmper LLP is seeking a Tax Director to join the Private Client Services (PCS) practice. This leader will sit across Iselin, Melville, New York, and Philadelphia offices, overseeing complex tax work for individuals, fiduciaries, corporations and partnerships.

The role emphasizes mentorship of staff, proactive client service, and effective engagement management with budgeting and billing oversight. CPA with 10+ years in public accounting is required; a Master’s in Tax is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Public accounting experience is required.
• CPA certification is required.
• 10+ years of work experience in tax compliance, including entity and individual taxation.

Responsibilities

• Review of tax projections, tax workpapers and tax returns for Federal, State, and local taxes including individuals, fiduciaries, corporations and partnerships.
• Oversee the tax return process, identify and resolve tax issues, and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor and manage staff accountants to meet deadlines and prioritize workload.
• Lead engagements including budgeting, billing and engagement economics; identify opportunities for new client services.
• Manage multiple tax engagements in a team environment and independently when needed.
