Job summary

CBIZ in Greenwich, CT is seeking an experienced senior manager to lead accounting and advisory services for middle-market clients. You will drive short- and long-term business planning, expand revenue from existing clients, and ensure billing, realization, and staff performance targets are met.

You will act as a trusted advisor, oversee client engagements, and mentor staff while contributing to strategic growth initiatives. Travel as needed to serve clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 6 years of supervisory experience.
• Must have active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing at all levels.
• Proven high level of business integrity, client service and leadership skills.
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Meet business development revenue expectations by adding new clients, cross-selling and executing a personal marketing plan.

• Ensure quality control standards are met.
• May work directly with clients and manage staff.
• Act as internal advisor on technical matters as a Subject Matter Expert.
• Be a member of the Senior Operations Management Team.
• Drive a team environment and support management decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field preferred
• Ability to work in the office and/or client location a minimum of 3 days per week

Minimum Qualifications
