Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to clients in the consumer products industry, delivering innovative tax planning and compliance solutions
• Oversee preparation and review of federal, state, and local tax returns for Corporations, Partnerships, and individual shareholders/partners
• Address complex tax issues such as inventory accounting, sales and use tax, state nexus, and multi-state filings
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities and optimize tax positions for clients
• Advice on tax implications of business transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring within the consumer products sector
• Stay current on tax law changes impacting consumer products businesses and communicate updates to clients and internal teams
• Mentor and develop tax professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
• Drive growth of the Consumer Products practice through market-facing initiatives, networking, and thought leadership
• Identify new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing clients
• Represent Anchin at industry events and conferences to enhance visibility and attract new clients

Requirements
