CFS in Northern Virginia is seeking a Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director on a partner-track path. The role emphasizes private-client services, high-net-worth clients, and a long-term leadership trajectory. Qualifications

• CPA licensed with tax planning and compliance experience.
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong hands-on 1040 experience.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and onsite availability during tax season.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120S tax returns.
• Manage relationships with private clients, trusts, estates, and closely held businesses.
• Review tax work and support junior staff development.
• Provide tax planning and advisory support to clients.
• Assist with long-term client relationship transition and succession planning.
• Utilize CCH Axcess and QuickBooks within tax workflow processes.
