Job summary

A leading midstream energy company based in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Tax Director to oversee all tax matters for the organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in accounting, extensive experience in MLP and corporate tax, and a proven track record in federal and state tax compliance. Qualifications

• 7 or more years of relevant MLP, partnership, and/or corporate tax experience.
• Industry experience in the midstream energy sector is a plus.
• Big-4 firm experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Federal and State tax compliance for MLP entities.
• Calculation of Annual and Quarterly income tax accruals.
• Oversight of K-1 review and processing.
• Research and planning, tax modeling and special projects, as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws impacting MLPs and the midstream energy sector.
• Interact with external service providers and internal departments.
• Work with other groups to improve tax related data.
