Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Tax Director or Manager to join our Tax practice in Southern Minnesota offices, including Rochester. This leadership role focuses on strategic tax planning for clients and leading engagements for complex tax matters.

You will mentor staff, develop client relationships, and help grow the practice while delivering compliant tax filings and advisory services.

Qualifications

• 6 years of tax experience in a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA certification required; EA or JD may be accepted in lieu of CPA.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on business tax planning and compliance.
• Lead, schedule, supervise, and review tax engagements.
• Develop and train team members to help them build careers in tax.
• Foster opportunities for clients, communities, and people.
• Attend industry events and trainings to stay current.
• Review complex individual and corporate tax returns.
