Creative Financial Staffing, in partnership with a global manufacturing and technology organization, seeks a Tax Director for its North American tax function. The role is based in Northborough, MA with a hybrid schedule and leads tax accounting, compliance, and reporting while partnering with executive finance teams.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years of corporate tax experience, strong ASC 740 expertise, and public company background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA/MST preferred
• 10+ years of corporate tax experience
• Extensive ASC 740 expertise
• Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
• Experience managing tax provisions, reporting and compliance

Responsibilities

• Lead income tax accounting and reporting, including quarterly and annual tax provisions
• Oversee federal, state, local, and international tax compliance
• Manage ASC 740 calculations, provision documentation, and disclosures
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls and maintain a strong internal control environment
• Partner with finance leadership on tax planning initiatives and business transactions
• Support audits, tax examinations, and interactions with external auditors
• Monitor tax law changes and assess impacts on the organization
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development to the tax team
