Job summary

Elevate is seeking an experienced Tax Director for a Boca Raton leadership role to grow its partner firm's tax practice. The position focuses on high-impact tax advisory, compliance, and client service for entrepreneurial, family offices, and real estate clients.

The ideal candidate brings a strong generalist tax background, 10+ years in public accounting, and expertise in construction and real estate taxes, with international tax experience preferred; onsite work is required in Boca Raton, FL.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience.
• Significant experience serving construction contractors and real estate clients.
• Strong generalist tax background across individuals, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, trusts and estates.
• Experience managing client relationships and building a book of business.
• Demonstrated leadership in mentoring tax professionals.
• International taxation experience preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Boca Raton, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory, planning, and compliance services for entrepreneurial businesses, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals.
• Oversee federal, state, and local tax filings for various entities.
• Lead growth and management of the tax practice and mentor staff.
• Collaborate with Elevate leadership to standardize processes and leverage shared services.
