Job summary

GPAC seeks a Tax Director for a well known CPA firm in New Orleans, LA. The role requires a CPA, a Bachelor's in Accounting, and 10+ years in public accounting to lead and grow the tax team.

Responsibilities include overseeing diverse tax returns (Individual, Estate, Gift, Corporate, Partnership, Nonprofit) and providing strategic tax planning for clients. Excellent benefits, clear growth path, and a quick interview process are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have CPA and a Bachelor's in Accounting.
• 10+ years of experience in Public Accounting.
• Ability to manage and lead a team.
• Experience with tax returns for Individual, Estate, Gift, Corporate, Partnership and Nonprofit.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Tax Department and mentor staff.
• Oversee preparation and review of tax returns across multiple entities (Individual, Estate, Gift, Corporate, Partnership, Nonprofit).
• Ensure compliance, quality control, and proactive tax planning.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to drive growth and client service.

Well known CPA firm in New Orleans, LA is looking for a Tax Director to join their expanding team.

Tax Director

Qualifications

• CPA
• Bachelors in Accounting
• 10+ years of experience in Public Accounting
• Ability to manage & lead a team
• Experience with the following tax return types (Individual, Estate, Gift, Corporate, Partnership, & Nonprofit)

Compensation: $150k+

Office locations - Mandeville, Baton Rouge, New Orleans.
