Job summary

The Salters Group in Coral Gables, FL is seeking an experienced Tax Director to lead the firm’s tax practice and provide strategic planning for high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses. This role offers a genuine, clearly defined path to partnership and a high level of visibility with firm leadership.

The successful candidate will lead complex engagements, mentor tax professionals, develop client relationships, and contribute to growth through business development and advisory

Qualifications

• CPA required
• Significant public accounting tax experience
• Previous experience at the Tax Director, Senior Manager, or equivalent level
• Strong technical tax knowledge and client advisory skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships
• Leadership and team-development experience
• Interest in progressing to Partner

Responsibilities

• Lead and review complex federal, state, and local tax engagements
• Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and privately held businesses
• Manage and develop client relationships
• Provide strategic tax planning and consulting
• Mentor and develop Managers, Senior Managers, and other tax professionals
• Assist with business development and expansion of the firm's tax practice
• Work closely with Partners on firm strategy and client service
