Job summary

EY USA is seeking a Federal Tax Advisory Data & Technology Intern for Summer 2027 to support the BTS/FTA team with data processing and tax computations using Excel, Alteryx, Access and Python. You will also gain exposure to EY’s Prod igy platform and AI tools like Copilot.

Ideal candidates are pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees in CS/Analytics/IT/Systems with a 3.0 GPA and are legally authorized to work in the U.S. in a hybrid internship.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, Analytics, IT/Systems with strong academics.
• GPA 3.0 cumulative.
• Experience using Microsoft 365 and ability to learn other apps.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with 60% in-person collaboration.
• Must reside within commuting distance of EY office.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Process client data and perform tax-related computations using Excel, Alteryx, Access and Python.
• Assist in configuring and calculating R&D credit studies using EY's Prod igy platform.
• Develop Alteryx workflows to clean and analyze data and support tax calculations.
• Identify data issues and communicate with senior team members for resolution.
• Learn and apply EY AI tools (Microsoft Copilot) to enhance data analysis and productivity.
