The role oversees day‑to‑day case management, advances inventoried accounts toward resolution, and coordinates with a Legal Assistant for client communications. The attorney provides guidance on case progress, requests necessary client documentation, drafts filings to tax authorities, and ensures deadlines are met.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed member in good standing of the Georgia bar.
• High level of financial literacy.
• Persistence and problem solving ability.
• Self-motivated and client-focused.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with IRS, state revenue departments, and other taxing authorities.
• Review and update case information and billable time in HubSpot for 80–150 inventoried cases.
• Prioritize daily tasks and respond to clients.
• Collect and organize documentation for attorney review.
• Coordinate with Legal Assistants to provide timely client updates.
• Draft and submit filings to IRS and state authorities as needed.
• Meet deadlines imposed by federal/state entities.
• Educate clients on tax law and present resolution options.
