Qualifications

  • 0–3 years tax controversy experience in a law or accounting firm preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate effectively with IRS and state revenue agencies.
  • Handle IRS Notices, case evaluation, risk assessment, and counseling.
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documents for IRS and state agencies.
  • Track time spent on each case and manage workflow in the case management system.
  • Conduct legal research using Bloomberg and other platforms.
