OneSource Virtual (OSV) is seeking a Tax Consultant to partner with customers and lead tax service implementations from initiation to go-live. You will gather documentation, configure TaxEx, and ensure accurate tax setups across federal, state, and local jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates bring experience with ERP HR/Payroll tax systems, strong consulting skills, and a customer-centric approach. This role supports remote collaboration and cross-team coordination to ensure successful project

Qualifications

• Experience with tax software configurations such as TaxEx or Workday tax modules.
• 3–5 years of project management experience in payroll, tax, or financial implementations.
• Strong consulting experience and ability to align customer expectations with project goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, detail-oriented and organized.
• Passion for customer service.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and deployment partners to guide tax service implementations.
• Configure TaxEx application per customer requirements.
• Identify and analyze tax needs and data requirements.
• Coordinate with customers to resolve issues impacting scope or delivery.

Summary

The Tax Consultant will partner with the customer to establish & build a relationship for a successful transition to Operations (pre & post go live projects). The role of the Tax Consultant requires knowledge of federal, state, local/city tax requirements to complete the tax set-up within the OSV TaxEx system. The Tax Consultant will be responsible for the data gathering of all pertinent legal & required documentation to ensure the customer’s taxing jurisdictions are set-up accurately & accordance with authoritative guidelines. The Tax Consultant will be focused on driving & ensuring customer satisfaction on the project. The Tax consultant will also partner with other OSV internal teams to bridge any gaps for a successful customer transition.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers & deployment partners to understand, define requirements & guide the customer through the implementation process for OSV tax services
• Configuring TaxEx application in accordance with customer requirements
• Identify and analyze Tax needs and data requirements
• Work with customer to identify/resolve all issues that could impact project scope or delivery of service
• Lead the Tax implementation process from start to finish
• Consulting with customers on data integrity issues
• Conduct check points with customer for timely delivery of tax service & any outstanding project documents
• Be comfortable in conducting customer calls in a clear & concise manner
• Ensure customer projects are planned & properly monitored

Qualifications

Required

• Previous experience working with either TaxEx OR Workday, PeopleSoft or other ERP HR/Payroll systems/applications with tax specific configuration experience
• 3-5 years project management experience with Payroll, Payroll Tax or Financial implementations
• Effective Consulting experience
• Ability to collaborate with customers to define project expectations and ensure consistency with strategic direction
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for customer service
