Job summary

Block Real Estate Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Administrator to support tax-related processes across its portfolio of investment properties and affiliated entities, including approximately 350 LLCs.

The role coordinates collection and tracking of tax workpapers, assists with K-1s, 1099s, W-9s, and related schedules, and facilitates data flow among property accounting teams, external tax advisors, and third-party vendors.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting or similar experience.
• Experience with Yardi software a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and review tax workpapers and supporting docs for ~350 LLCs.
• Assist in preparing K-1s, 1099s, W-9s and related schedules for external CPA firms.
• Serve as a point of contact among internal accounting teams, external advisors, and vendors.
• Coordinate gathering of federal, state, and local tax return information for partnerships and corporations.
• Monitor property tax assessments and payments across the portfolio.
