Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) in Minnesota is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for St. Cloud, Brainard, Monticello, and Alexandria locations.

This full-time internship requires a 40-hour work week and provides exposure to tax returns, audits, and assurance services as part of a collaborative CLA culture. You will gain experience across client engagements, participate in training opportunities, and benefit from comprehensive wellness and benefits while pursuing CPA eligibility.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with MS Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

This internship position is full-time. Candidates should be able to commit to 40 hours per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Working towards the achievement of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field – Degree in Accounting or Finance strongly preferred.
• Achieving credit requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact position of pay within the range.

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $27.00 - $31.00
