CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC in the Charlotte/Raleigh/Triad region seeks Tax/Audit Interns for January 2027 to April 2027. Interns will prepare tax returns and support audit, review, and assurance work on multiple client engagements.

You'll gain practical experience, access training opportunities, and collaborate with CLA professionals across services. Travel to client sites may be required as part of the internship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA track encouraged).
• Credit requirements to sit for CPA exam per state.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, identifying issues and communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge, through greater exposure to peers, clients, and formal training opportunities.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
