Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Tucson is seeking Tax/Audit Interns for a January 2027 start through April 2027. This internship provides exposure to return preparation, audit procedures, and client service across tax and assurance engagements.

Applicants pursuing a bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, CPA eligibility per state requirements, and MS Office proficiency are encouraged to apply. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA exam requirements to sit for state CPA exam.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience, exposure, and knowledge of procedures and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
• Expands industry knowledge through exposure to peers, clients, and training.
• Completes research and special projects as needed.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members.
