Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) in Minnesota is seeking Tax/Audit Interns across multiple locations (Mankato, Rochester, Owatonna, Austin, and New Ulm). This full-time internship requires 40 hours per week and offers exposure to tax returns, audit, and assurance services while building client experience.

Candidates pursuing a bachelor's in accounting or finance, CPA exam credit requirements, and proficiency with MS Office are encouraged to apply. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Credit requirements to sit for the CPA exam per state requirements.
• General knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites.
• Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other types of tax returns.
• Performs audit, review, compilation, and other assurance services.
• Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
• Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget.
• Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members on a regular basis.
