Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking Tax/Audit Associates for our Denver, Colorado Springs, and Salt Lake City locations with a start date in January 2027. You will prepare various tax returns and perform audits, reviews, compilations, and other assurance services while gaining experience across procedures, workpapers, and systems.

Travel to client sites may be required. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, are eligible to sit for the CPA exam, and are willing to learn

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA eligibility preferred.
Willingness to learn new technologies and stay current with standards.
Proficient with MS Office and accounting software.

Responsibilities

Prepares individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns.
Perform audit, review, compilation, and assurance services.
Gains experience with procedures, workpapers and systems.
Supports multiple client engagements on time and within budget, communicating progress.
Expands industry knowledge through peers, clients and formal training.
Completes research and special projects as needed.
Communicates effectively with clients and CLA family members regularly.
