Johnson Lambert LLP in Raleigh, NC, is seeking Tax Associates to join our growing team. You’ll participate in client engagements from planning to completion, research tax issues, and help develop solutions for clients in the insurance, not-for-profit and employee benefit plan sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and requisite hours to sit for the CPA exam.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Desire to work in public accounting.
• A strong track record of leadership and related extracurricular activities.
• Ability to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in client engagements from start to finish, including planning, completing tax projects, and working within a budget.
• Research tax issues and communicate with clients on resolutions.
• Work with team to develop new ways to solve client business problems.
• Supervise, train, and mentor new associates and interns on tax processes.
• Proactively communicate with management regarding work status, schedule requests, and time/budget variances.
• Develop professional relationships with clients and maintain client confidentiality.
