Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking an accounting student for a full-time Tax opportunity. You will work with clients across industries to develop technical skills and build business relationships while being coached by experienced staff.

CPA eligibility is required by start date and you will participate in client meetings alongside partners and managers. You will contribute by reconciling accounts, preparing various tax returns, and calculating extensions or payments, all while developing your career

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for associate positions
• Must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. state by start date
• Solid technical accounting knowledge
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Reliable transportation to and from the office and able to attend off-site meetings in person

Responsibilities

• Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data with client personnel
• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns
• Calculate tax extensions or estimate payments
• Participate in client meetings with Forvis Mazars partners and managers
