Job summary

Sherwood Staffing Partners in Ridgefield, CT seeks a Tax Associate / Tax Senior for a hybrid role. You will prepare individual and business tax returns, support clients in QuickBooks, and progressively take on review responsibilities while engaging directly with ownership.

The firm offers a genuine path to Partner, flexible hybrid scheduling, and a base salary of $80-100K depending on experience, with additional bonuses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience (Associate and Senior level candidates welcome).
• Experience with ProSeries and QuickBooks is a plus.
• CPA or on the path to CPA preferred.
• Self-motivated and wants to build something long term.

Responsibilities

• Prepare individual and business tax returns using tax software and client data.
• Work in QuickBooks to support client bookkeeping and tax prep.
• Take on review responsibilities and client communication as you grow.
• Help shape the future of the firm as it plans for succession.
