Job summary

Stoller CPA Inc in Encino, CA, is seeking a Tax Associate with 1–3 years of experience who wants broader exposure than a larger firm typically offers. You’ll work closely with our CPAs on every engagement, from the general ledger through the final return, with room to grow into a Senior role over time.

Hybrid or in-office schedule, limited overtime, and strong client focus. This role offers hands-on experience with diverse returns for S corporations, partnerships, trusts, and individuals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 1–3 years of tax experience at a national or large regional CPA firm.
• Experience preparing S corporation and Individual income tax returns.
• CPA License or pursuing CPA licensure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Individual, S corporation, partnership, and C corporation income tax returns.
• Review client general ledgers, reconcile accounts, and propose adjusting entries.
• Prepare extensions, estimated payments, and year-end projections.
• Follow up with clients by phone and email on missing information.
• Clear review comments and learn from feedback on each file.
