Job summary

ATLAS Navigators, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our NW Phoenix team. This full-time, onsite role supports tax preparation, accounting tasks, and client service under supervision of CPAs and managers.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (CPA track preferred) and 2–4 years in tax/accounting. Proficiency in QuickBooks and CCH is expected. Remote candidates within the US may be considered. Benefits include medical, dental, 401k, and flexible PTO.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent experience.
  • CPA track or active pursuit of CPA preferred but not required.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience in a tax/accounting role preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals and entities.
  • Assist with federal and state compliance reporting requirements.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and maintain client files with confidentiality.
  • Conduct bookkeeping tasks including payroll processing and reconciliations.
  • Utilize QuickBooks Online/Desktop, CCH, and MS Office to support operations.
