Job summary

Henderson Harbor Tax in the NYC area is seeking a Tax Associate to support U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance, including the preparation and review of tax filings and related financial reporting.

You will work with the Tax Manager and a broader tax team, gain exposure to post-merger integration and tax planning opportunities, and develop a well-rounded understanding of corporate taxation through hands-on experience across multiple tax areas.

Responsibilities

• Support U.S. federal and state corporate income tax compliance, including preparation and review of tax filings.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end tax reporting and financial reporting requirements.
• Support indirect tax compliance activities as needed.
• Gain exposure to post-merger integration and related tax matters.
• Assist with identifying and supporting tax planning opportunities.
• Work on a broad range of tax projects and initiatives, providing exposure to diverse tax matters.
• Report directly to the Tax Manager and collaborate with other members of the tax team.
• Develop a well-rounded understanding of corporate taxation through hands-on experience across multiple areas of tax.
